Student Arrested For Threatening Violence At Maryland High School, Sheriff Says A teen is facing charges following a potentially scary situation that played out at a Charles County high school on Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office. On Nov. 19, an SRO at Henry E. Lackey High School was advised about a student who was yelling in the hallways that he was going to bring a weapon to school to harm another student. According to officials, the School Resource Officer was able to locate the student in question, contacted their guardians and followed up with a home visit. Fights Break Out Across Charles County High School In Between Classes Several Charles County high school students are being investigated after multiple fights took place over a class change, officials say. Numerous Henry E. Lackey High School students reportedly became involved in several altercations across the school in between classes on Monday, Feb. 27, according to the Charles County Sheriff's office.
