Police have identified a 57-year-old woman who was killed in a head-on crash when another driver unexpectedly veered into her lane on Wednesday afternoon. Springfield resident Monica Wilson was heading north at around 5 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 500 block of Largo Center Drive when she was struck by a second driver who was heading south and crossed into the northbound lanes. Both drivers who struck and killed a 29-year-old pedestrian in Howard County fled the scene and are wanted for hit-and-run, police say. Zulma Maginelly Zepeda Barrientos went ping-ponging between two cars traveling in opposite directions in Elkridge over the weekend, and both drivers sped away following the fatal strike, according to investigators. Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Prince George's County
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal pedestrian crash in Palmer Park, authorities say. Jackie Monroe, 53, was attempting to cross the 8000 block of Barlowe Road when he was struck by a vehicle around 10:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
