Two Killed In Overnight St. Mary's County Fire, Cause Under Investigation, Officials Say Two people are dead after an overnight blaze broke out in a Lexington Park home, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal. Crews from the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded at approximately 1 a.m. to the 21700 block of Cabot Place to investigate a reported house fire, officials said. Upon arrival, firefighters found two victims inside the home, which suffered extensive damage during the fire. No information about the victims was provided by fire officials.
