Ricardo Roberts, a 60-year-old Alexandria man, died at Inova Fairfax Hospital while being treated for chronic medical issues, according to the sheriff's office on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Grandparents Found Dead In Maryland Home Were Killed By Grandson: Police (Updated) A domestic-related shooting in Columbia left two family members dead and the suspected gunman in custody, Howard County police said. Officers responded to a home in the 6300 block of Red Haven Road shortly after 3 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, police found DiAngelo Smith, 33, sitting in a vehicle outside the residence with a gun, investigators said.  He was taken into custody without incident.
