A member of the Bowie Police Department has been placed on administrative leave after discharging a weapon that struck a vehicle, officials say. At approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, an officer pulled over to assist with what was believed to be a stranded motorist in the northbound Collington Road near US-50. University Park resident Angel Aguilar has been identified by authorities as the biker killed after he was found on a sidewalk following a crash on Saturday afternoon.
