A devastating fire tore through a Howard County home over the weekend, leaving a family displaced and claiming the life of a beloved pet. At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, Howard County Fire and Rescue crews responded to a blaze in the 2800 block of Belle Hollow Court. Six people were able to make a great escape from an early morning fire in Montgomery County on Monday morning, officials confirmed. Two families found themselves in a perilous position shortly before 1 a.m. on July 8, when a fire broke out inside their Rockville home in the 900 block of North Stonestreet, with the flames blocking their exit.
