Prince George's County Police Officer Arrested For Vehicle Violation, Suspended: Officials
An off-duty Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended without pay after being arrested last week, authorities announced on Monday morning. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department charged Police Officer Sierra Alston with unauthorized use of a vehicle and related offenses, police say. Man Convicted Of Paralyzing Officer During Traffic Stop Shooting Denied Parole: Police
The man who shot a Montgomery County Police officer more than two decades ago and left him paralyzed has been denied parole, according to officials. Terrence Green, who shot Officer Kyle Olinger during a traffic stop in Silver Spring in August 2003, will stay behind bars, authorities announced on Tuesday afternoon.
