Crews Called To Federal US Navy Facility For Office Fire In Maryland
First responders were busy on Sunday morning when a fire broke out at the US Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called at around 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 17 to the NSWC Caderock building in the 9500 block of Mac Arthur Boulevard, where there was a fire inside the office area of the facility. A third suspect has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man in Montgomery County last year. Gaithersburg native Alonzo Jerome Lyles, 22, is the latest to be charged for his alleged role in the shooting death of Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr. in November 2023. Some lanes were closed following a crash in Montgomery County that left a vehicle on its side and two people trapped inside on Wednesday afternoon.
