One person was hospitalized after an officer involved shooting on Thursday afternoon in Charles County, officials say. Shortly after 1 p.m. on Sept. 12, officers were called to the 14000 block of Bassford Road in Hughesville for an investigation. Two people were killed and a child was injured following a massive two-alarm fire at a multi-family home in Prince George's County on Tuesday morning, officials say. It didn't take long for members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office to track down a hit-and-run driver who took off on foot in Lexington Park over the weekend.
