Shooting Suspects Apprehended After Multi-County Police Pursuit In St. Mary's: Sheriff
Four people were taken into custody following a multi-county pursuit in Southern Maryland following a shooting in St. Mary's County. Shortly before midnight, deputies from the sheriff's office were called to investigate a reported shooting in the 45000 block of Breezy Lane in Hollywood, where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area. A 44-year-old Calvert County man suffered critical injuries in a head-on crash that involved three other vehicles in Leonardtown on Sunday afternoon. Andrew Jason Causey, 44, of Solomons, had to be extricated from his vehicle and airlifted to an area trauma center with life-threatening injuries following a multi-vehicle crash, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. An 18-year-old man has been arrested after police say he pointed a gun at a group of people gathered in a St. Mary's County park over the weekend.
