The community is coming together in an effort to track down the suspects involved in a series of anti-Semitic incidents over the summer in Montgomery County. A $7,000 reward has been donated by local community organizations as they seek the public's assistance in identifying, arresting, and prosecuting whomever is responsible for vandalism found in the Bethesda area in August. A minor who is no stranger to members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is facing fresh charges following the latest incident in Leonardtown, when he and several others accosted a bike rider and stole his backpack, officials say. Deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were called to investigate a robbery at a business in the 21600 block of Great Mills Road at around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. A 20-year-old Baltimore County woman was arrested on Friday morning and charged for her role using spray paint in July to deface federal property at Columbus Circle outside Union Station in Northeast DC, federal authorities announced. Days before classes are set to resume, a new batch of hateful graffiti was found at Montgomery County Schools over the weekend. Teen Brothers Playing With Fire Burn Down Maryland Playground Equipment, Document It: Sheriff
Two teen brothers caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage at a Frederick County playground after playing with fire and burning some of the equipment, according to the sheriff's office. In late June, first responders were called to Green Hill Park in the 2800 block of Decatur Drive in Adamstown, where they were met by playground equipment on fire.
