Father Killed In Head-On Maryland Crash: 'The World Is A Darker Place Now' A late-night head-on crash in Annapolis claimed the life of a beloved Crownsville man and left two others injured, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The fatal collision happened shortly before midnight on Thursday, Feb. 20, along Generals Highway near Knollwood Drive. Police say Jonathan David Rober, 47, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata northwest on Generals Highway when the vehicle crossed the center line and slammed head-on into a 1997 Toyota 4Runner. 'Excessive Speed' Believed To Be Factor In Fatal I-495 Crash In Prince George's: State Police A 40-year-old Mercedes driver outside of his vehicle and on the shoulder on I-495 in Prince George's County was killed when a group of teenagers lost control and rear-ended him, state police say. Lanham resident Ayuk Etta was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash with a Honda Pilot on Sunday night on the Outer Loop of I-495 that also sent four others to the hospital. Investigators say that the Honda was heading north along the interstate in Lanham when the driver, Biruk Grimes, 19, lost control and struck the rear of the Mercedes.
