With a snow and ice storm expected to batter Maryland and Virginia, some schools announced that there would be some closures and early dismissals on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Say Goodbye To Sunny Skies: Tropical Storm Bringing Rain To Maryland This Week
Monday, Sept. 16 could be the last sunny day for the rest of the week in the Northeast. A tropical rainstorm working its way through the Carolinas is expected to dampen parts of Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and some of Pennsylvania mid-week, forecasters say. "A subtropical storm has both tropical and non-tropical characteristics," AccuWeather says.
