Hero Dog Saves Sleeping Woman From Maryland Camper Fire, Officials Say
A Maryland woman is recovering after a heroic dog helped her escape a burning camper trailer blaze, according to the State Fire Marshal.
The fire broke out around 2:18 p.m. Friday, April 11, inside a Sunline Solaris camper on Dogwood Court in Millington.
At the time, the owner and only occupant was asleep, officials said, when an electrical failure inside the trailer sparked the blaze.
There were no smoke alarms inside, but one of the woman's pet dogs began barking and woke her up, alerting her to the danger.

A late-night house fire forced a Harford County family, including two young children, to flee their home, officials said.
The fire ignited around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, inside a two-story home in the 3800 block of Hebron Terrace in Abingdon, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
