Medical Examiner IDs Manner Of Death After Human Remains Found In Maryland
Police in Baltimore are seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to identify human remains found decomposing more than a year ago. Late in the afternoon of Sept. 5, 2023, officers were called to the back of the 800 block of North Fremont Avenue to probe reports of a dead body that was found in the area. Upon arrival, members of the Baltimore Police Department found the unidentified remains of a person who "appeared to have been (there) for some time." The death of a 37-year-old Montgomery County man remains under investigation weeks after his death was ruled a homicide when his body was found inside an area apartment, police say. Alarm bells are sounding for members of the Metropolitan Police Department as they search for an infant who was reported missing in Northwest DC on Wednesday. An alert was issued by the agency early on July 17 as they seek the public's assistance in locating 5-month-old Rajah Leonard, who was last seen around noon in the 6000 block of 16th Street NW and is believed to be accompanied by 27-year-old Ramon Leonard.
