A 40-year-old man was found shot to death in a wooded area in Anne Arundel County overnight, prompting a homicide investigation, police say. Officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called shortly before 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15, where they found Glen Burnie resident Anthony Lee Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in Severn. His body was located in the woods in the 8000 block of Marlton Court. A man from Indianapolis was taken into custody overnight after he was found in a Montgomery County apartment, where his 37-year-old sister was found dead, police say. Devon Miller, 30, was arrested and charged in connection to the homicide of Bethesda resident Shanon Marie Barnett on Monday night, according to officials. A death investigation has been launched in Maryland after a missing 53-year-old man's body was found in the bottom of a well outside his St. Mary's County home over the weekend amid a fire investigation, state police say. Joseph Andrew Murrin has been identified as the person who was reported missing on Friday, Aug. 2, before his body was found 30-feet deep in a well next to his Callaway home.
