Two Injured After Crashing Through Guardrail, Hanging Off Wall In Montgomery County
Two people were injured near the Germantown Library when a Mazda crashed through a fence and came to rest hanging off a wall on Thursday morning. Shortly before 8 a.m., first responders in Montgomery County were called to the 19800 block of Century Boulevard near Commons Drive in Germantown, when a vehicle hopped a curb, went through a guardrail and was "suspended off (an) elevated area wall," according to officials. Buildings Evacuated After Driver Struck Gas Meter Attached To Montgomery County Building
A library and day care in Montgomery County were among the buildings evacuated on Tuesday afternoon when a driver struck a gas meter attached to a building. First responders were called to Davis Library on Democracy Boulevard in Bethesda at around 3:30 p.m. on July 16, where there was a reported gas leak after the crash, officials say.
