Four people were rushed to area hospitals - one of whom died - following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in Prince George's County, police say. At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 31, the northbound lanes of Branch Avenue were closed between Beech Road and Auth Way in Temple Hills during a crash investigation. A 69-year-old man was killed on his motorcycle after crashing into another vehicle in Prince George's County. Police have identified Upper Marlboro resident Roger Ferguson as the motorcyclist who was killed in a Landover Road crash in Cheverly on Thursday. At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 22, officers were called to a stretch of the roadway near Route 50 to investigate a crash, where they found Ferguson suffering from critical injuries. A driver died at the hospital after being involved in a weekend crash with a pick-up truck in Montgomery County, officials say. Isaac Akomanyi has been identified as the Nissan driver who was killed following a crash on Saturday night in Gaithersburg with a 2022 Ram 1500 pick-up.
