A 19-year-old high school student who had plans to commit a school shooting in Montgomery County was convicted of making threats of mass violence, authorities announced on Wednesday. Rockville resident Alex (Andrea) Ye was arrested last year following an investigation after the FBI notified Montgomery County Public Schools about a 129-page "manifesto" authored by the teen. The community is coming together in an effort to track down the suspects involved in a series of anti-Semitic incidents over the summer in Montgomery County. A $7,000 reward has been donated by local community organizations as they seek the public's assistance in identifying, arresting, and prosecuting whomever is responsible for vandalism found in the Bethesda area in August. A Maryland community came together to help clean up hateful graffiti that was found spray painted outside a Montgomery County elementary school.
