State Police ID 28-Year-Old Man Critically Injured In Maryland Shooting That Shut Down I-95 A stretch of I-95 in Maryland was shut down early Monday morning following a shooting that left a Laurel man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, Maryland State Police confirmed. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Ronald Victor Garcia-Rodriguez, was found lying on the shoulder of northbound lanes of I-95 near Route 216 after calling 911 at around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 to report that he had been shot. Father Of Four Killed In I-95 Dump Truck Crash In Maryland 'Was Pillar Of Family,' Wife Says A father of four who had a 1-year-old child before a fatal dump truck crash on I-95 in Maryland is being remembered by his family as a man who was "full of life, always smiling and making others laugh."  At around 9:15 a.m. on Aug. 20, several lanes were closed on the interstate near Brooklyn Bridge Road in Laurel, when a driver crashed off the roadway and had to be airlifted to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
