Child Recovering At Hospital After Accidentally Shooting Herself In Maryland Apartment: Police A 3-year-old girl is recovering at an area hospital and a teen is facing a weapons charge after the child accidentally shot herself inside a Montgomery Village apartment, police say. Shortly after noon on Tuesday, June 4, officers were called to the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road, where there was a report of an injured child. The girl was taken by Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel to an area hospital, where she underwent surgery.
