A 15-year-old girl who vanished nearly a year ago from Pennsylvania was found in North Carolina, about 470 miles away, and the man she was living with is now facing more than 15 felony charges, police said. A former Jehovah’s Witness from Butler County has been sentenced to up to 34 years in prison for sexually abusing a child family member over five years, beginning when the victim was just 7, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Tuesday, June 3.
Shaun Sheffer, 47, of Harmony, was convicted by a Butler County jury in January of three counts of rape, three counts of indecent assault, and one count of corruption of minors, according to the AG’s Office.
