A Bowie man is accused of murdering 19-year-old Dacara Thompson, whose body was found dumped off Route 50 after she was reported missing, police announced. The disturbing discovery was made early Sunday, April 27, when a man drove an injured woman to White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring around 7:15 a.m., according to investigators. A detective opened fire on a man with a curious choice of weapon during a standoff in Arbutus that ended with his death, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. An attack inside a Meade High School bathroom left a 17-year-old student fighting for his life, and two other students are now facing attempted murder charges, Anne Arundel County police say. New details have been released by police in Prince George's County as they continue their search for two suspects wanted in connection to a fatal tire shop shooting over the weekend. Two men are dead and a third was injured after a shooting in Prince George's County late on Thursday night, police say. Officers were called shortly before midnight on June 13 to the 7000 block of Berry Road to investigate a reported shooting at a car gathering in Accokeek, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
