An arsonist in Maryland tied to multiple fires is heading to prison, federal authorities announced.
Justin Michael Reeves, 29, pleaded guilty to intentionally setting fire to multiple North Baltimore properties and has been sentenced to more than five years in prison, according to the US Attorney's Office.
According to his guilty plea, on May 10, 2025, Reeves set a fire at a North Baltimore residence, but he was just getting started.
After setting the fire, Reeves returned to the residence at various points to spread the burning materials across the structure and the garage door.

For 15 months, the killing of a 14-year-old Maryland girl went without an arrest.
That changed on Wednesday, Aug. 26, when DC police arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the death of Clinton resident Zytina Mason-Brown, who was shot on Benning Road NE in Washington in May 2025.
Mason-Brown was just 14 when officers were called to the 1700 block of Benning Road NE at approximately 5:08 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
They found the teenager unconscious and not breathing with a critical gunshot wound.
