Woman Gets Jail Time For Pepper Spraying 12-Year-Old Child During Disagreement In Maryland
The woman who pepper sprayed a 12-year-old child living with her during an argument is going to spend time behind bars, the Charles County State's Attorney's Office announced. Waldorf resident Sabrina Cocheye Embrey, 51, was sentenced to six months in jail after being convicted by a jury in May on child abuse and assault charges following an incident that escalated with the boy. A former police officer in Maryland who broke bad has been convicted for violating a man's civil rights, using excessive force, and crossing the line during an incident in Northeast DC, federal authorities announced. Graduation Fights In Montgomery County 'Embarrassment To Community,' Principal Says
What started as a day of celebration ended violently when a brawl broke out during a graduation ceremony in Silver Spring. Several fights were reported outside of John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring this week on the steps of Constitution Hall, according to Principal Vickie Adamson, who called the incident "an embarrassment to our community."
