New details have been released after an intoxicated BMW driver sped through a closed lane on Friday morning, striking two Maryland State Police vehicles and injured a veteran Montgomery County firefighter. Troopers from the Rockville Barrack were called at around 2:40 a.m. on Sept. 13 to the Inner Loop of I-495 near University Boulevard, where there was a reported crash involving a Lexus and tractor-trailer, leading to several lane closures in the area.
