The purple and pink lights were visible due to a Solar Storm, or a Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun on Tuesday, Oct. 8 which arrived in the area Thursday. It didn't take long for members of the Annapolis Police Department to apprehend a murder suspect wanted in connection to the fatal public shooting of a 59-year-old woman. On Thursday night, officers were called to the 1700 block of Forest Drive to investigate a reported homicide, where they found Allison Faye McIntyre suffering from a gunshot wound inside her vehicle in a parking lot. The beginning of the academic year has been busy for police in Prince George's County, who have been occupied investigating dozens of school-related threats. Ten students between the ages of 13 and 16 are facing criminal charges, police announced on Wednesday, and four other juveniles were also identified, thought hey cannot be charged under Maryland law due to their ages. A devastated family in Maryland is reeling and seeking answers after a beloved toddler was killed in DC. Late on Saturday, 1-year-old Upper Marlboro native Journee Moore was the subject of an emergency call in Northwest DC after going into cardiac arrest.
