A 20-year-old Boyds man who led police on a deadly chase through Montgomery County was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with all but eight years suspended, after pleading guilty to grossly negligent manslaughter and related offenses. Antoine Randall was sentenced this week in Montgomery County Circuit Court by Judge Harry Storm after pleading guilty to his role in a December 2023 crash that killed a minor who was in his vehicle. A juvenile was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Parkdale High School on Tuesday afternoon, officials say. Shortly before 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 8, Prince George's County Fire and EMS personnel were called to the 6000 block of Good Luck Road in Riverdale, where there was a reported pedestrian strike in front of the school. Two minors suffered injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking along the road in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday morning, police say. Two children accidentally set a car on ablaze in Maryland overnight while they were playing with fire, officials say. Shortly before midnight, members of the Salisbury Fire Department were called to a home on Delaware Avenue in Wicomico County, where there was a reported car fire.
