With millions of travelers hitting the road before Thanksgiving, some will have to wait to reach their destination after a multi-vehicle crash temporarily blocked several lanes on I-270. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded at around noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27 to a stretch of the northbound lanes involving multiple vehicles and a tractor-trailer. The second Midwesterner of the week was nabbed with a loaded gun at a Newark Airport security checkpoint, authorities reported. Mobile sports betting is expected to officially be coming to Maryland, possibly just in time for the traditional slate of NFL football games on Thanksgiving, according to officials. Maryland Gov.
