The ongoing dry conditions throughout the region led to a large brush fire in Harford County that resulted in one firefighter suffering an injury, according to officials. First responders from multiple agencies in Northern Maryland and Pennsylvania were called at around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to a brush and woods fire in the area of Baldhill Lane and Silver Lane in Darlington after being alerted to flames by a utility worker in the area. One firefighter was injured battling a blaze that broke out inside a cabin that burned to the ground along the Susquehanna River in Harford County, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal.
