A suspect is in custody after an off-duty Howard County Sheriff's deputy was shot and killed in Baltimore on Friday morning. City resident Jewel Crowder, 40, has been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of 23-year-old Deputy Ryan Alexandr Demby, authorities announced. The Baltimore Police Department announced the arrest on Saturday. Justice has been served for the family of a man who was gunned down after getting into an argument with squeegee workers in a Baltimore intersection, the state's attorney announced. Tavon Scott, Jr., 16, was convicted on multiple charges for his role in the death of 48-year-old Timothy R. Reynolds in the intersection of Light and Conway streets in July last year.
