Maryland Man Who Took Police On Deadly High-Speed Pursuit Learns Fate In Court
A 20-year-old Boyds man who led police on a deadly chase through Montgomery County was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with all but eight years suspended, after pleading guilty to grossly negligent manslaughter and related offenses. Antoine Randall was sentenced this week in Montgomery County Circuit Court by Judge Harry Storm after pleading guilty to his role in a December 2023 crash that killed a minor who was in his vehicle. Metro Bus Murder: DC Man Convicted Of Maryland Killing Caught On Video
A 35-year-old Washington DC man has been convicted of killing a 29-year-old man on a transit bus in Maryland last year, authorities said. Tyrone Curtis was found guilty by a jury in Montgomery County Circuit Court of first-degree murder for the April 5, 2023 killing of Amonte Cunningham on Jan. 24, before before the Honorable Jeannie Cho, the State's Attorney's Office said. Three people were hospitalized in Rockville when a driver struck them not far from Montgomery County Circuit Court. Shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon officers from the Rockville City Police Department were called to the the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue, where there was a reported crash with pedestrians involved. Police say that three people were taken to area hospitals with "various injuries."
