Shooting In Anne Arundel County Prompts Police To Steer Public Away From Area Officers are on the scene of an early afternoon shooting in Severn, authorities say. One victim was found with gunshot wounds on the 8100 block of Mead Village Road shortly before 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 7, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The victim was transported to the hospital with what they believe appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.  The scene is still active and authorities are asking the public to stay away from the area at this time.
