A convicted murderer from Maryland who was a known enforcer for a DC street crew has been sentenced for drug trafficking in the District and discharging a machine gun, authorities announced. District Heights resident Trenton Robinson - also known as "Zulu" - has been sentenced to 234 months (19.5 years) in prison for his role in the crew that distributed more than 100 kilograms of marijuana, as well as oxycodone and codeine throughout the region. Police Sergeant Admits To Violating Civil Rights During Fatal Shooting Of DC Motorist: Feds
A high-ranking member of the Metropolitan Police Department has admitted to violating the constitutional rights of a 27-year-old man who was shot dead, federal authorities announced. Enis Jevric, 42, a sergeant with the agency pleaded guilty in federal court to using excessive force on An'Twan Gilmore in August 2021 during a police shooting. Jevric also pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Dog Fighting Operation Unearthed In DC After Officials Seize Illegal Alligator
A Washington, DC man will spend time behind bars after being convicted of animal cruelty for abusing dogs as part of a potential dog fighting operation and possession of an alligator, according to federal officials. Jaquan Jackson, 35, was found guilty of charges stemming from animal abuse in which he failed to provide proper veterinary care for at least two dogs, authorities announced.
