Man Who Raped Young Girl In MD Gets Prison Time, Must Register As Lifetime Sex Offender: Judge
A Frederick man will spend years in prison for raping a 12-year-old child who ran away from home, the State's Attorney's Office announced. Jonatan Daniel Corado-Moscoso was sentenced this week to 20 years in prison, with all but seven suspended, and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life following the investigation into a sexual assault in 2022. Police ID Man, Officers Involved In Fatal Frederick County Shooting
New details have been released by the Maryland Attorney General's Office as they continue to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Frederick County that left a knife-wielding man dead. Frederick resident Joseph Sherrill, 44, was shot and killed by officers on Saturday, March 4 during an investigation into a wanted man. 'He Was Never Looking For Trouble' Man Killed In Frederick Shooting Survived By Young Children
Police have identified the young father from Montgomery VIllage who was killed in a weekend shooting, authorities say. Michael Isaiah Olaniyi, 26, was fatally shot in the 300 block of North Market Street around 3:30 a.m., Saturday, July 23, according to Frederick police. Family of Olaniyi say that he was wrongfully shot after "having a night out having fun with his older siblings", in a fundraiser created to help support his loved ones.
