The ongoing dry conditions throughout the region led to a large brush fire in Harford County that resulted in one firefighter suffering an injury, according to officials. First responders from multiple agencies in Northern Maryland and Pennsylvania were called at around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to a brush and woods fire in the area of Baldhill Lane and Silver Lane in Darlington after being alerted to flames by a utility worker in the area. Family Displaced After Blaze Breaks Out In Maryland Kitchen: Fire Marshal
A fast-moving kitchen fire in Maryland caused approximately $150,000 in damage before dozens of firefighters were able to knock down the flames and get the blaze under control. Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20, in Cecil County, a fire was reported at a two-story, single-family home on Doctor Jack Road in Port Deposit, the Maryland office of the State Fire Marshal announced.
