Curious Cabin Fire Along Susquehanna River Under Investigation In Maryland
One firefighter was injured battling a blaze that broke out inside a cabin that burned to the ground along the Susquehanna River in Harford County, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal. Overnight, members of the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company were called to Jennings Lane, when a neighbor reported that a recreational cabin was fully engulfed in flames along the water. Traffic was tied up on US-1 in Northern Maryland on Wednesday morning when a motorcyclist crashed in Harford County. First responders from multiple agencies were called to a stretch of US-1 on the north side of the Conowingo Dam after one person reportedly went into the river. A pair of dogs helped a family of four avoid disaster after a generator caused an accidental fire in a Maryland garage that was being used following the recent storms that rolled through the region.
