A Virginia woman is accused of stealing nearly $50,000 from her elderly relative in Willow Street, West Lampeter Township police announced on Tuesday, July 22.
Margaret Christel, 34, of Falls Church, Virginia, was charged with one count of Felony Financial Exploitation of an Older Adult after police say she stole and altered checks belonging to her elderly family member between December 2023 and March 2025.

Pitt, a West Orange native, was arrested and arraigned at Kings Supreme Court in Brooklyn on Friday, May 2, charged with two counts of sexual abuse, assault injury with a blunt object and strangulation, Variety reported.

A Pennsylvania man accused of multiple rapes may have additional victims, police announced on Tuesday, March 18.
Nafeas Alexander, 30, of Darby, PA, previously of Leesville, Lousiana, was arrested in February and charged with felony rape forcible compulsion, felony sexual assault, felony IDSI forcible compulsion, misdemeanor false imprisonment, and misdemeanor possession of a weapon, after a victim came forward, Darby Borough Police said.

Off-duty PA State Police Liquor Enforcement Officer, Benjamin J. Brallier, age 44, of Kennedy Township, formerly of Moon Township, was found stabbed while running near near the 1900 block of Hassam Road on Montour Trail on Monday, Oct. 21 at 2:52 p.m., Allegheny County Police detailed.
He was treated at the scene and then taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, the police explained.
