A Maryland community came together to help clean up hateful graffiti that was found spray painted outside a Montgomery County elementary school. Anti-semitic imagery was found on a sign at the Bethesda Elementary School on Arlington Road, though crews and neighbors were quick to clear the paint on Sunday morning. Moments after it was announced that University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill was resigning, Board of Trustees Chairman Scott Bok followed suit. Magill, whose testimony to Congress on antisemitism earlier this week sparked widespread outrage, resigned on Saturday, Dec. 9. Hate-Based Vandalism Found On Maryland Bridge Under Investigation
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information into a hate crime in Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Department of Police issued a fresh alert on Thursday as they continue to search for the vandals who tagged a bridge under Josiah Henson Parkway late last month. New Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found Spray-Painted Along Maryland Trail
Elected officials in Maryland are condemning the latest instance of anti-Semitic behavior in Montgomery County. For the second time in nearly as many months, anti-Semitic graffiti was found spray-painted along the Bethesda Trolley Trail in the Wildwood neighborhood.
