Detectives have arrested a 35-year-old woman accused of killing a WSSC Water employee in a drunk-driving crash earlier this year, Montgomery County police announced Monday. Dori Campbell, of Silver Spring, faces multiple charges after investigators say she struck and killed 39-year-old Ernest Joseph Dyson while he was working near New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road around 4:40 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8. Worker From Clinton: Police
A 39-year-old WSCC worker was killed after being struck by a DUI driver early Sunday, Sept. 8 in Montgomery County, police said. Clinton's Ernest Joseph Dyson was working at New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road in Hillandale, when he was struck by a 2011 Volkswagen CC around 4:40 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of a black 2011 Volkswagen CC was reportedly uninjured. Dyson, a WSSC Water employee, was on the job at the time he was struck, according to police.
