Mother Charged With Attempting To Murder Teen Daughter In Prince George's County, Police Say A Maryland mother who shot her daughter is facing charges for attempted murder, authorities in Prince George's County announced. Seat Pleasant resident Talecka Brown, 32, was arrested in connection to a midday shooting involving her teenage daughter, who suffered critical injuries on Monday. According to the Seat Pleasant Police Department, officers were called at around 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 23 to the 500 block of 69th Street, where there was a reported shooting.
