Teen Found Dead Outside Maryland Residence: Sheriff (Developing) An 18-year-old was found unresponsive outside a St. Mary's County home on Friday morning, according to the sheriff's office. Park Hall resident Eyverson Tykinnley Baker has been identified by investigators as the person who was found in the 20000 block of Colby Drive at around 7:15 a.m. on Friday, May 24. Investigators say that deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were called to the home, where there was a report of a person not breathing. Head-On Hit-Run Driver Who Fled Maryland Crash On Foot Arrested, Sheriff Says It didn't take long for members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office to track down a hit-and-run driver who took off on foot in Lexington Park over the weekend. Patrick Shawn Daly, 35, was taken into custody following a head-on crash on Saturday, where witnesses reported one driver fled in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road.  According to the sheriffs office, responding deputies determined that Daly was at-fault for the crash, and had left the scene before they arrived.  Passersby were able to provide them with a description of the driver, and he was located later on May 18…

Suspended Driver Found With Cocaine In Routine St. Mary's Traffic Stop, Sheriff Says A 41-year-old driver was charged with drug offenses during a routine traffic stop, authorities said. St. Mary's County Sheriff's deputies said they recognized a driver as having a suspended Maryland license and owing child support. Deputies pulled over a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Shawn Maurice Dickens, 41, of Great Mills, near FDR and MacArthur boulevards in California, MD, they said.
