Tips From 2023 Result In Massive Maryland Drug Bust: Police

Tipsters helped lead police in Anne Arundel County into making a massive drug bust in Laurel, authorities announced.

Last year, narcotics detectives from the Anne Arundel County Police Department received information about possible illegal drug distribution that centered on a home in the 3500 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road.

On Thursday, police say that teams executed a search warrant at the suspect home, which led to a massive seizure of drugs and ammo, resulting in the arrest of 33-year-old Reshawn Tillies, who was prohibited from possessing ammunition.

Officers seized: 

  • 443 pills of suspected oxycodone/fentanyl;
  • 26 pills of suspected oxycodone;
  • Approximately 453 grams of suspected cannabis;
  • $660 in cash;
  • 2 digital storage devices;
  • 860 rounds of .223 caliber ammunition;
  • 9 rounds of 9mm ammunition;
  • CDS packaging material;
  • Digital scale w/ suspected CDS residue.
