Members of the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office were called to an area high school to investigate reports of a threat of a potential shooting in the building. Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, the threat of a school shooting was air-dropped into the phones of three students in one classroom at Walkersville High School, according to the sheriff’s office. Social media reared its ugly head once more in Maryland. A juvenile is in custody after the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office received a report of threats made online to blow up Walkersville High School, as well as a teacher’s home, officials announced. Nikole "Niki" Morfessis left a lasting impression on those she knew. She was a student at Walkersville High School, loved being with her friends and could rock "black winged eyeliner and lashes every day flawlessly," according to a GoFundMe.
