17-Year-Old Found Shot Near Baltimore Apartment Building: Police
A teen was found shot near a Baltimore apartment building before dawn on Thursday, February 15, police say. Officers responded to the shooting report near the 4600 block of Pen Lucy Road just after 5:25 a.m. and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the hand, according to the Baltimore Police Department. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The location of the shooting is unknown, police added. Gunshots rang out in the middle of the afternoon in Charles County on Wednesday, leaving a teen boy with a gunshot wound in an apparently targeted attack. Two Teens Shot Near High School In South Baltimore
A double shooting of two teenagers near a South Baltimore high school prompted a school lockdown and early dismissal, according to multiple reports. Two teens, who were reportedly not students, were shot in an alleyway near Benjamin Franklin High School on the 1100 block of Cambria Street around 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, reports continue. The school was put on a lockdown before dismissing students as a result of the shooting. A young girl was shot in the leg while riding in a car along a Baltimore street, authorities say. The 14-year-old girl was taken to a hospital after the shooting around 2 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, according to Baltimore police.
