The Thanksgiving holiday got into an inauspicious start for 21-year-old Collin Rono, who is facing a DUI charge after driving into the back of a state police cruiser while troopers were working to direct traffic amid flooding in North Bethesda on Tuesday night. Maryland State Police investigators have released new details about the fatal I-95 crash that killed a 31-year-old truck driver on Thursday afternoon. A tow truck operator was saved from a dangerous accident in Silver Spring thanks to the quick response of a courageous Maryland State Trooper, authorities say.
