The 13-year-old allegedly left a voicemail to the school threatening a shooting shortly after 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, according to the Takoma Park Police Department. The middle school was placed under lockdown as a precaution as summer school had been in session. Woodlawn High Student Hit In The Head With Bat By Another Student (Updates) One student is in the hospital after being hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, school officials report. The 18-year-old student lost consciousness and required immediate medical attention. They were taken to a local hospital for further treatment, the school said.  In a letter that went out the parents, Principal Jamel Jernigan said the incident happened during one of the school's lunch waves in the cafeteria on Tuesday, March 29.
