Police investigators in Maryland have released new information as they continue to investigate a fatal shooting in Prince George’s County. Fort Washington resident Terrence Koonce, 51, was shot and killed on Sunday, Aug. 14, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department, though the shooting suspect remains at large. A man has been arrested after confessing to killing a professional boxer on Christmas Eve -- who was driving his family to dinner, according to police. Markell Lewis, 25, of Clinton has been arrested for the fatal shooting in Temple Hills of 30-year-old Danny Kelly Jr., Prince George's County Police said. Kelly Jr. was behind the wheel of his family's SUV on St. Barnabas Road with his girlfriend and three children in the car when Lewis pulled up and opened fire, hitting Kelly around 4:40 p.m., police said.
