Speed and alcohol may have been a factor in a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that claimed the life of a 64-year-old Baltimore man in Charlotte Hall, officials say. Deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were called at approximately 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 to investigate a reported crash in the center median in the area of Route 5 and Oak Station Drive. Speed and alcohol are considered to be factors in a rollover crash that left one child dead and two others hospitalized with serious injuries in St. Mary's County. Adult, Child Killed In Multi-Vehicle Baltimore Crash: Police
An adult and a child were killed in an early morning crash in Baltimore’s Eastern District on Wednesday, Feb. 21, police confirmed. The crash occurred near the 3500 block of Belair Road around 7:30 a.m., a representative with the Baltimore Police Department told Daily Voice. Officers arrived and found a child dead at the scene. A second victim was found trapped inside of a vehicle and later pronounced deceased. Investigators believe speed to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is being led by Crash Team detectives. No further details were released.

Speed and alcohol appear to be contributing factors in a fatal Maryland crash that took the life of a woman early on Saturday morning, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.
