Man Killed By Wrong-Way Driver In Head-On Maryland Crash: Police
A 68-year-old man was killed when the driver of an SUV lost struck him head-on in Anne Arundel County overnight, police say. At around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called to the area of Solomons Island near Owensville Sudley Road in Harwood to investigate a reported head-on crash involving two Ford vehicles. According to investigators, 32-year-old Edgewater resident Anthony Michael Filippelli was driving south on Solomons Island Road when his Ford Escape crossed over the center line, striking Stephen Lee Horodyski's Ford Fiesta.
